Traci Fellow's success story started just after she became one of the many victims of the dot-com melt-down. Between jobs, she mixed up a batch of granola that she shared with friends. When they kept asking for more, a business was born that quickly gained a legion of repeat customers at the Grand Lake Farmers Market and one in Campbell. When we initially profiled Traci Fellows, she had just been honored as the Marin County Farmers' Markets' Rookie of the Year for 2003. Always exuberant, Traci was equally excited about having her TRACI'S GOURMET GRANOLA just added to the shelves at the Food Mill. Two years later, her granola is available at more than twenty locations including Andronico's, Piedmont Grocery and Berkeley Bowl.
Every Saturday, you can find Traci at the Grand Lake Market dishing out samples and reminding shoppers that she uses all organic ingredients -- organic rolled oats, organic raisins, organic sunflower seeds, natural almonds, organic dried dates, organic dried cranberries and it's sweetened with organic maple syrup. with no refined sugars or added oils.
