Ledesma Family Farms
The Ledesma's are amongst the best traveled of the vendors at the Grand Lake Market with acreage in Gilroy and Gustine and a small parcel in Watsonville. In addition, they sell at 8 different Farmers Markets during the summer and 3 during the winter.
Year round they grow five different leafy vegetables: lettuces, broccoli, cauliflower, onions and garlic...but that's just for starters. Depending upon the season, you may find in their booth berries, melons, tomatoes, corn, peppers, rhubarb, sunchokes, asparagus and so forth. As a supplement to their Farmers Market trade, they also ship across the country tomatoes, peppers, squash, beans and peas. In addition, the Ledesma's are active participants in the Womens, Infants, Children (WIC) program helping to provide low income families with a nutritious diet.
