The Emeryville Metal Sculptors have been selling occasionally at the Grand Lake Market since it moved out into the park. They are an Emeryville-based, family of modern day tinkerers. Peter Neufeld, Briana Kaufmann and their son, Bear specialize in whimsical sculptures made chiefly from recycled materials, especially antique silver-plated cutlery. Although all three artists share a common medium, each puts their own individual stamp on their creations. Briana, for example, favors mythological themes. The family has been exhibiting at crafts shows and the Marin Farmers Market for many years.
