In June 2012, I decided to create a comparable Farmers Market Flickr group for the general public. You're encouraged to post up to three photos per day. Videos are also welcomed.
Those photos were originally included on this page but since it required far less effort, eventually I moved almost all my Grand Lake Market photos to Flickr instead.
I'm looking forward to seeing this venue through others eyes and intend to share the very best in the Splash Pad Newsletter and on this gallery page.
Back in 2004, before there was a Flickr and while digital cameras were still a novelty, we organized a photo competition and invited camera buffs to submit their digital photos of the Saturday Farmers' Market to this gallery. One of the winners was Laurent Bonetto thanks to his photo of Sophia Young clutching a giant-sized bag of Gold Rush Kettle Korn. Five years later, I took the accompanying photo to demonstrate that all that good, organic produce plus a substantial helping of popcorn works wonders.
