David Bosch
Owner
Bosch Precision Cutlery
With a little assistance from David Bosch, you too can cut those luscious, vine-ripened Farmers Market tomatoes into perfect slices. David has been setting up his mobile work shop at the Grand Lake Market for some four years. If you make his truck parked at the Grand Avenue entrance to the market your first stop, you can do your shopping and typically come back in ten to fifteen minutes to perfectly sharpened cutlery. Most of his on-site work consists of knives (including serrated and bread knives), but he can and will sharpen just about anything that takes an edge including scissors, paper cutters, push mowers and garden tools.
David's initial interest in sharpening was "whetted" in childhood by his Uncle Paul, a blacksmith in San Rafael. When David retired several years ago from UPS, he equipped a camper shell with a grinder specifically made for sharpening knives plus half a dozen other wheels for deburring and polishing. All work is guaranteed.
In addition to the sharpening services, David also sells knives and scissors. He is only one of three Northern California distributors for Icel Cutlery imported from Portugal. For more information, please visit their
